Maternity photography is all about capturing the beauty and magic of motherhood.
Emphasizing feminine curves and soft, tender moments are central elements.
This made me realize that boudoir photography, with its focus on sensuality and femininity, ties in closely with this.
It felt like a natural extension of my current work.
I decided to follow my curiosity and started looking for tutorials and workshops.
That's how I came across the wonderful Yuliya Panchenko. Her work fascinated me, and I immediately subscribed to her YouTube channel.
By following her special tutorials and chatting with her live, I gained valuable insights and tips.
After a pleasant conversation with Yuliya, in which she expressed her appreciation for my work in newborn and maternity photography,
I felt extra motivated to delve deeper into boudoir photography.
Yuliya showed that boudoir photography does not necessarily have to take place in a lifestyle setting.
This appealed to me because I am not a lifestyle photographer.
The sleek studio portraits in particular appealed to me immediately.
I started studying tutorials on posing and the props needed for boudoir photography.
After following the tutorials and purchasing beautiful lingerie and sensual dresses, I felt ready to begin.
I arranged for some models and organized my first sessions.
To my delight, the first session was an instant success!
This gave me the confidence to continue.
I decided not to wait any longer and created a separate page on Facebook and on my existing website for my boudoir photography.
